I painted this picture in Monterey in Winter of 2005. The picture won Second Place in Santa Clara Art Association (SCAA). I showed this picture at the AVA Artfest at the Triton Musium of Art in Santa Clara, California in June 2005. The picture has a twin sister in water color that I sold at the show that year.

Very nice.
You captured the view and added depth and dimensions.
I visited that site and took a picture some years ago.
It is lovely.
I'll look for my photo and try to post it or send it your way.

Thank you Hoda very much. I love abstract, it adds a new dimension to the painting.
I'm waiting for your photo.

I love how a suggestion of contrails has been turned into such a dramatic compositional element - the sky, a faceted gemstone canopy, reflected in crystalline waters (and more subtly, in the warmer sun toned facets of the promontory).
I know that tree. I love that tree! Lovely not lonely.
Good job!
